After my medical studies (2001) at Cocody University in Abidjan Côte d’Ivoire, I served as the Director of the Bingerville Humanitarian Hospital (Abidjan) for 10 years. I started my public health career after my MPH from Senghor International University in Alexandria, Egypt (2009). During my internship at MEDES, the French Institute for Space Medicine, I worked on their flagship project SAFE (Satellite for Epidemiology) aimed at using remote sensing data to forecast outbreaks of infectious diseases and reinforce health systems capability to address pandemic and natural disasters. I later worked as International Health advisor for People to People (US). I then furthered my education with a PhD in population health from the University of Ottawa (2020) and extensively did research and interventions for improving MNCH outcomes. I did some research on prostate cancer and it’s unique distribution in certain populational groups in relation to calcium intake. I am currently conducting international research to address systemic public/population health issues.
